So when he made a side comment a while back about how "it would be cool to join Big Brothers/Big Sisters and be a big brother" I urged him to contact them and apply!
Chris goes tomorrow to meet his new "little brother", and every time you bring it up he gets a big 'ol smile on his face. I'm so excited for him, from what we've learned about his lil bro, it sounds like the two will click perfectly!
My mister is going to make a great mentor for the little guy, I hope the two of them create a bond that will last a lifetime!

YAY!!! I'll get to meet him in the program - apparently we have big meetings/events/cookouts with all the bigs and littles! :)
