Always be nice to people you cross paths with. You never know when they may pop up 5 years later and offer to fly you out to Vegas for the weekend.

So what if I spent 3 hours last night laughing so hard I cried as we looked at pictures and reminiscied on vacation memories from our 2006 Spring Break with one of my best friends (Punta Cana, Dominican Republic - one of my favorite vacations!)

So what if even though that trip was 6 years ago, I could have easily told you it was recent and you'd never know. My hair (and baby face) both look the exact same! (Ok, perhaps the gauchos would have tipped you off)

So what if I had this for dinner last night. Blufeld and the Blue Box is a balanced meal in my book! (Actually, I made orange death... and I enjoyed every bit of it)

So what if I am racing home from work today to make sure I get my newspaper before the Betty White wanna be next door snatches it up again.




So what if I've lived in the house for like 4 months now and still haven't had a housewarming party... good things come to those who wait! 



So what if I attempted to clean my chandeliers and came away with a light bulb burn on my forearm. It's in the shape of a tear, for my fallen homies (what? it was legit when Lil Wayne said it)

 So what if my rug looks like this daily, because of my little monster

 
So what if absolutely hate the "ombre" hair trend these days. It's nothing but glorified roots in my opinion. To each her own. 

So what if I giggled like a 13 year old boy when these letters popped up in my WWF game

 


So what if my bar is overflowing... good thing there are some Ladies' Nights' in the works! I bet we can make a dent in it!

 So what if Shaggy frequently pops up on my Pandora, and I don't ThumbsDown it! Don't act like you don't break a smile when you hear that he was bangin on the bathroom floor

My proudest moment

I was at Target Friday afternoon, just perusing the aisles when I saw these table clothes on an Easter themed endcap. Teal with a bold geometric print. It had to be mine!

And then I added three more to my cart.

Did you just do the same thing that the Target checkout girl did... "FOUR TABLECLOTHES... ARE YOU HAVING A PARTY!?"

I told her yes, because, well I just didn't feel like explaining to be honest. I was on a mission, and I didn't want to stand around chatting - I had to get home!

Are you curious yet? Maybe just a little bit?? I'll give you a hint... I don't even HAVE four tables in my house.

Well, my friends.. I'll indulge you in my little secret. I hung table clothes as curtains!

(phew - turn a blind eye to that trainwreck of a dining room table please!)

I simply hung them using the little alligator clip curtain hooks! Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

I love them! They were just what I was looking for!! And I love even more that for $40 I got 4 'curtain panels'.

And the best part... if I ever need a table cloth in a pinch, I am SET! ;)

*Tip: if you want to do something similar, make sure the table clothes you purchase are 84"in length, this is a common table cloth size (and also standard curtain length). These were 60"x84" which is slightly wider than standard curtains, but no big deal!

Miss Chelsea's Closet

Sometimes when I pull together a cute outfit from my closet and feel like it deserves a picture... Friday night was one of those times! A couple of my girlfriends and I grabbed some dinner and drinks, then went to enjoy the new MattyMc flick (Lincoln Lawyer). WHICH, by the way... is actually a really good movie. Highly recommend!

I also tackled a really awesome DIY project for my dining room this weekend too, but you'll just have to wait and see that one!

Cardigan- BP-Nordstrom (I have this in 3 colors - LOVE); White Tee- Mossimo (Perfect basic tee. I've got atleast 4 colors!); Cami- Buckle (These rock, I bought nearly every color while I worked there!) Jeans- Hudson; Boots- Steve Madden ; Scarf- Target; Watch- Michael Kors; Hat - Been in my closet for a while!
