Halfbaked Heaven

Last Friday night (if you read that without Katy Perry popping into your head, kudos to you... I sure couldn't!) anyways, last Friday night turned into a bit of a girls night out. Earlier in the week my cousin called asking if my mom and I wanted to go to Sugarland concert with her because my uncle's suite had a few extra passes.

Uh heck yes! I love Sugarland and suite passes again?! We had a blast last year when we were up there for the Carrie Underwood concert!

We started off our night at Adobo Grill, home of the BEST guacamole in Indy. Ok, just my opinion but really what else matters?!  It's made tableside, and we maayyyy have gone through two bowls of it... just the three of us!

What made me an even happier little lady was the fact that my most FAVORITE cocktail in the city is on special on Friday nights - yep, $5 Pineapple Pilas. Don't know what a pineapple pila is? It's pineapple infused tequila mixed with coconut rum. Heavenly. Honest. If you come visit me I will take you there

Sugarland was amazing, per usual, one of the funniest parts was when they busted into this compilation of all these pop songs like "Put a Ring on It" and Britney Spears and a handful of others.

To round out the perfect night, I talked mom into popping into Mo's Steakhouse as we were leaving the fieldhouse for (again, just my opinion) the best dessert in town.

They take this big dish and smush cookie dough all down into it and then stick it in the oven JUST long enough for the edges to start getting cookie-like, and plop a big scoop of vanilla bean icecream on top and serve it piping hot.
(Yes, I was midbite, and yes we did devour the whole thing!)

I like to refer to it as half-baked heaven. YUM.

Good night. A good night for sure!

so far i have planned out my visit in indy:

1. get uncle to get tickets to any concert in the suite again.
2. try your pineapple drink. so i can recreate it at my bar. and impress people.
3. stop by the house of booze.
4. maybe fit in a nascar race.
5. finish the weekend with half-baked heaven.

Tableside guac is quite possibly the best way to have guac :)

That cookie dessert sounds amazeballs!
