Two more fails

Remember the time I tried the Super Easy No Heat Sleep On It Wake Up With Gorgeous Curls for only $19.99 and if you call within the next 10 minutes we will even throw in another for free! (whoops got a little carried away...) anyways, remember when I tried that hair trickamajig I saw on Pinterest and woke up with a ratty mess?

Well, mama always taught me that when you get knocked down you gotta get back up again.

So I said, look her Sock Bun Curls... I know that the Super Easy No Heat Sleep On It Wake Up With Gorgeous Curls trick did not work, but I am giving you a shot. I have faith.

And so I woke up looking like this.

And had my straightener turned out 10 minutes later. (And didn't even bother taking an after picture because it was so bad)

Curling tricks picked up from Pinterest apparently just aren't for me. I will stick to my flatiron curling method, I've got it down to a 15 minute process and it never fails me!

I also attempted the tiedye nail thing too...
Ended up with huge globs of swirly paint coating the top, bottom, sides, behinds and in general all over my hands. Maybe I missed something? Fail numero dos.

In other news, I'm newly obsessed with the 'Paint One Nail a Different Color Trend',

and I rock my bright yellow Tekkies like it's my job (because it's totally safe to take photos of yourr shoes while desperately attempting to drive a stick shift, right?).

Meh, that's all I've got. Hey... it's August now, wow where did that come from?! Here's to hoping it's a good month!

Hey it's better to have tried and failed than to have never tried at all!

You are my favorite hot mess;)

And I think if I tried that nail tiedye, I'd be in trouble. How does someone even get it to look that perfect!

PS- Your friendship bracelets are the best

At least you gave it a try. And don't worry, I could NEVER do that tiedye nail thing! That just looks so difficult!

I tried the sock bun too, and my hair came out looking like a hott mess. And the nails takes a few times to get it right, I must have tried it ten times before having one nail that looked good. Good luck!

I tried the nail thing on Saturday.. it was way too thick and probably wouldn't have ever dried, haha. I ended up with the splatter with a straw method :)

I've tried so many get your hair straight tricks that never work for me. I always end up back where I started just using a flat iron to work out my curls. I love the painting one nail different too!

I love the tie dyed nails! I am going to have to see if my salon can do that.

I tried the sock bun last week and I was sooo disapointed! I was really expecting it to work! I thought it was just because my hair was already curly or something so Im glad to hear Im not the only one it didnt work for lol. What a waste of a ruined sock right ;)
