So... how do you know her?

It was inevitable really, but I didn't expect it to happen that soon.

I wasn't really prepared. I fumbled my words and beat around the bush and finally just flat out spilled the beans.

HJ discovered the blog.

I blame it all on Michelle over at Living a Life of Love really. Between the texts, facebook messages and packages, HJ started to inquire. "She's my friend, she lives in Florida" had sufficed up until Friday night.

I was showing him the bracelet she sent me, when that evil question popped up.
"So, how do you know this Michelle chick anyways... did you go to high school with her?"

I giggled, and mumbled a few words and shyly looked away before mustering up the words that are guaranteed to get you a sideways glance and an eyebrow raise.... "I've actually never met her in real life..."

And that's just what I got... a sideways glance and an eyebrow raise. "Ok... now you really have to explain this one" he finally replied after a few seconds of silence and my giggles.

"I blog... well I mean, we blog.... Jenn does it too!" I spouted out. What is it about a cute boy that makes every maybenotquiteaspopular hobby seem THAT much less cool.

We finally ended up cracking up over the whole thing, and he just finds it hilarious that I have all these 'friends' whom I have never met scattered across the continent. Honestly, I'm glad we got past that little hidden hobby, but I'm even more glad that he hasn't asked to see it yet. HA!

Imagine his surprise when he discovers I've been talking about him on here!

Ah! So funny! I love blogging, but every time someone asks about it I feel so awkward. ha! Can't wait to hear about his reaction when he finally finds out that he's being discussed on the blog!

too funny. How long do you think he's spend on Google trying to find it since? =-)

Do you think he's done a search to find it?!

Love it! Yea, I definitely have found it funny that I have friends all over the country that I talk to regularly (including email, text, send cards to, etc) and I've never met them....but they're still our friends even if they are via the blog world :)

Too funny. He probably could care less. Robbie never asks anything about my blog anymore. He read it while he was in Iraq and now I think he just kinda forgot about it.

It's so funny trying to explain something about someone who blogs. I usually start out with "my blog friend so-and-so"

OMG! Secrets out! hahahaha explaining blog friends to people that don't blog is HARD! :)

Oh my! Yeah my beau kinda had the same reaction and found at the same way... with a 'who are you getting ANOTHER package from today' and what do you mean 'you won a giveaway so this was free and you didn't buy it' lol

Haha!! I think this is hilarious! I started my blog because I have a friend that blogs all the time, so for me there was someone else that did it, making it not as strange, at least that's what I tell myself :)

And my boy, he knows, doesn't bother to read it though. That's fine by me!!

Yup, you got busted! I still get awkward explaining blogging to non-bloggers!

I love when my husband asks me how I know bloggers. He thinks it's odd that I know all these "random" people all over the country and talk to them sometimes more than my IRL friends. Somehow cute boys do make you think blogging isn't cool. But I will convince him one of these days that it's perfectly acceptable to blab about your life virtually and have "total strangers" as friends.

Ha I've kinda been sweating that one too.
