Sneak Peek: living room curtains

I've finally got curtains up in my living room, so when people drive by the can't blatantly gawk at my widely exposed living room.

I won't lie. I'm sorta really big time in love with the fabric I chose! It's called Mary Jane Confetti, and is in the home decor section at Joanns, but (as I've learned) isn't on their website or anywhere online for that matter.

During my search for it however, I discovered that Brooke over at Thirfty Decor Chick used it to recover her incredibly cute wing back chair if you want to check it out in another project!

Today, as I was doing a morning Craigslist browse, I came across a rather interesting post.

It's like an all-in-one breakfast resource. 

Interesting. I can only imagine the possibilities.

What I'm Envisioning: Stairway

I came across this stairway last week on Cottage Insticts and fell in love. What's funny is that it's almost the same color as my stairway, and I too have a doorway at the bottom left of the stairs (dining room) as well as another to the right (living room)

I hope to begin scoping out Goodwill's near me and start collecting some cool old frames and mirrors soon!

Here's a shot of my stairway while it was undergoing a major wallpaper teardown! I'll have to remember to snap a "after" photo one of these days!

Today I love: Paperwink

I had been eyeing the custom address stamps on Paperwink long before i even began my house hunt, so I'd be lying if I said it wasn't one of the first things I ordered once I was handed the keys!

After much debating I chose the Swoop stamp for my new address. It's super cute. I ordered my mom one too, but for her I chose the Fanciful stamp. Also incredibly cute.
They have soo many cute varities though... I sort of want to get another one, It's totally practical to have two address stamps right?! Hah!


I think if I did I would pick this Highway1 stampDo you guys have address stamps too or do you just use the stickers... or are you like I used to be and just suck it up and write it out by hand??
