I spent a snowy Saturday this past weekend painting my
Craigslist frames.

I started out with white spray paint. That was the equivalent of a fail. I'm not sure if I got crappy spraypaint or what but it was either barely coating the frames or dripping all over the place. Yes, I probably should have sanded and primered first, but I'm impatient and didn't feel like it. Don't lecture.
So I decided to just brush them on. And went on a search for the leftover trim paint we had. Couldn't find it... but I did find a gallon of the original kitchen
paint color (that was
vetoed due to the flooring)-Valspar Light Avocado.

After approximately 6 seconds of debating
("hmm I drive a rearwheel drive sports car, therefore running to Lowe's for white paint in the 4 inches of snow that just accumulated in the past hour is out of the question and I want to paint NOW") I decided to go for it!

(Contrary to popular belief leading from the first photo... they are not neon -thank goodness)
I'm quite happy with how they turned out! I put about 3 coats on each frame, and made sure to get all the inside/outside/around/crevices. I think they'll pop well against my Sherwin Williams Wool Skein stairway walls (that in reality are so much more gray than this swatch)!

Now I just need to find time and a ladder and get them hung!
