If it was a fairytale...

In a fairytale world Chris would get to live in his condo downtown forever*....

In a fairytale world Chris wouldn't have 2 weeks to find a new place to live....

In a fairytale world I wouldn't have to worry about if I'll still have a job after my company merges with another the end of this month....

In a fairytale world Chris and I would both get big raises just for being excellent employees...

In a fairytale world I wouldn't get the horrible anxious feeling in my tummy worrying about the next few months....

In a fairytale world my head would be clear to love Chris as much as he deserves without it being clouded with worries about money, houses, jobs, etc....

But, we don't live in a fairytale world, and I'm the queen of worrying about things that are beyond my control. We are taking it day by day, keeping this in mind, and hopefully (in the words of JayZ) the best of our today's are the worst of our tomorrows!

*(Chris is the property manager at a big condo building in downtown Indy, sadly the HOA has decided they want to replace his job with someone who will live off-property and do it as a full-time position instead of living on-site and being on-call whenever necessary. This doesn't work out with Chris' full-time job)

PS I will post about the Fantasy 500 party tomorrow when I actually have the pictures to post too!

it seems like so many people are dealing with financial stress right now. a few months ago my hubby got laid off, and i stressed WAY out. i had to get a job, we moved back home to be closer to our families, among other big changes.

all to say, i feel ya. i'm sorry you're stressed right now, but in time, things do work themselves out.

Ugh! Doesn't it always seem like everything happens at ones and you just get bogged down!

Oh no I'm so sorry to hear about your situations. It seems like a lot of this is going on. You're creative, wonderful and I'm sure a great worker. If what you think is the worst happens don't worry things will fall into place, and if you get to keep your job then no worries. I know it's hard to wait, but try not to stress yourself out.

Bless your heart, I'm so sorry! I am also a control freak and don't handle it well when things go according to my plans. Things will always work out if you just give it time. Good luck!

Thoughts and prayers for you guys! I am the queen of worrying too, but we can't control everything. We just have to take it day by day and know that we're doing the best we can. Everything will work out the way it is meant to be. Keep your head up!

Sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing, but I know it'll all work out for the best. Sometimes the anticipation and speculation is worse than the end result.

Just have faith that you'll make it through :)

Don't you just love money/job problems and worrying about them?? We just went through a really tough time when my husband got laid off. It took 4 months for him to find something. I wasn't sure if or how we would make it but we did! It's amazing what a little faith can do :)

Keep your chin up and try not to let the stress overtake you.
