Today I Love: Boots & shorts

A few weeks ago LT & I were sitting on the patio of a restaurant in this outdoor mall near my house. A girl walked by in shorts & a beat up pair of boots and in that moment I decided I wanted to be her.

Not counting cowboy boots, I've been too scared to try this trend myself, but I'm really diggin it. Maybe soon I'll work up the courage!

    Girl, you can totally rock the boots/shorts. It's like boots/dress but graduated!

    Can I tell you a funny story? We just bought a house (yay!) but it has wood floors and I don't know if it's because my feet are used to carpet or because we're basically standing constantly (doing DIY of COURSE!) but the floors REALLY hurt my feet. Anyways, there's a point, I'm not just complaining. So, I don't own any slippers yet, and in the meantime, I've been wearing my super comfy snow shoes around the house. TOTALLY works. Shorts, a tank top and snow boots? I'm so there!
