Maybe next time!

I came into work this morning to this email:

Chelsea - Wanted to let you know that we have offered the position to Joe *LASTNAME* ( Currently a sales rep ).

You interviewed very well which is going to lead you to nice opportunities in the future.

Lets you & I keep talking to help with your advancement.

I would like for you to ride with a KAR for a day.

(Side note: KAR is key account rep - the position that he had me interview for)

Boo! Although I had said from the beginning that I didn't' feel like I got it; so, although it sucks because it's something I'd like to do, I am not too surprised/bummed over this. I'm excited by his email and the possibility for future opportunities though!

    :( OH NO! Well. It sounds like they were impressed, and it's good that he wants to send you out with a KAR and talking to you about advancement opportunities!

    Congrats on such a great response! You obviously rocked the interview and he suggested you go for it. so there will definitely be bright things in your future! Yay!

    Sorry you didn't get the position! At least it sounds like your boss is really happy with you and will hopefully be able to find a different position for you! Best of luck with it!

    I also got the bad news that I didn't get a job today. After two months of interviews, presentations, conversations, and stringing me along, they chose someone else. Oh, and I got an automated email telling me I wasn't chosen hours before the hiring mgr even called me. NICE. I feel your pain!
